nou bèl - 2020

Though established as an official LLC in 2020, Nou Bèl — the idea and the brand itself — has been a project in motion since mid-2019. It took hard mental work, secured funding, legal certifications, and the courage to actually start. We’re very happy to be here. And we don’t plan to stop at skincare. This is just the beginning of Nou Bèl.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide wholesome products using only what comes from the Earth — 100% USDA Certified Organic, Kosher, and Non-GMO top-shelf quality ingredients. Beyond certifications, we ensure every ingredient is processed through natural extraction methods only, from our oils to our clays.
We strive to formulate distinct products with thoughtful ingredient choices, recommended for specific skin types and concerns — not just one generic product for “all skin types.” We formulate our own products. We are not a private label company.

Our Story

We’re a small Haitian American family obsessed with skin, hair, and the overall beautification of self. For years, we’ve been pursuing the organic path to better skin — studying carrier oils, essential oils, butters, flowers, and herbs. We learned the methods of extraction, the benefits, and exactly how each ingredient helps the body, hair, and skin — and more specifically, which skin type each one serves.
That’s when we came across using pure oils, clays, and earth-derived ingredients as moisturizers, cleansers, butters, and so much more.
Fast forward a year or so: a lot of the products on the market weren’t truly working for us. So we kept studying — how to create different formulations, which oils to pair with which skin types, which vendors had the reputation and quality to back up their claims. Then we created our own formulas, piece by piece. We blended oils for our face. We started cleansing with clay. We tested these creations on ourselves and on anyone who wanted to try them.
We’re still experimenting. There’s an entire plant world full of beneficial herbs and oils we haven’t even touched yet.
Now we want to share what we’ve created with our extended family — you.
